Red Valley Ranch Camp
Fridays 10am-3pm
An amazing experience for ages 6 and up.
Your kids can learn what life is like on the ranch!
These agriculturally based days are both educational and fun!

We involve all participants in our daily farm routine where they will learn about the responsibilities of farming and caring for animals. There will be activities such as feeding and grooming the animals, collecting eggs, helping with the baby chicks, horseback riding, planting and farm themed crafts.

Daily sessions are 10am-3pm ($125/session)
*Discounted rates for 6 or more days and siblings

Participants will learn how to horseback ride daily (weather permitting).
This includes instruction/lessons, or hand led pony rides depending on the rider and their skill & confidence level.
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!
Participants get to adopt a chick each day they attend.
Each child is responsible for caring for their chick.
Camp is rain or shine.
(in case of extreme weather we may be able to switch the group to another day!)
On rainy days we will enjoy farm themed movies and extra crafting time and informational lessons! We may also put on our rain gear and explore our creek for some aquatic friends...or hunt for rainbows! These are often perfect days to spend in the greenhouse learning about where our food comes from and how its grown.
Campers need:
boots & comfortable clothing that can get dirty
bagged lunch
water games clothes (or bathing suit) & towel
Flip flops or easy on/off water shoes
extra water bottles/drinks
Long pants suggested for riding with a change of shorts..
helmets are provided for riding horses.

Some activities you will experience at the farm:
Planting, harvesting, feeding and watering animals, collecting eggs, grooming horses, bathing horses, mane braiding, tacking horses, riding horses, trail rides, hiking, scavenger hunts, crafts, horse games and more!
