Service Description

Horses are chosen based on the age, weight and experience level of each rider, This info will be asked on the booking form. It is extremely important to be honest and accurate. A rider too heavy for a horse can injure the animal. A beginner rider on an advanced horse may result in an unpleasant or uncomfortable situation for the rider. Experience levels are based on the following: BEGINNER: No experience or has ridden a few times on trails or had lessons in the past but needs a refresher. May require a side walker on trails for safety. INTERMEDIATE: Can confidently walk, trot, whoa, steer, back up. Can mount and dismount properly and unassisted. ADVANCED: Can do everything intermediate plus canter and jump small obstacles properly. Before heading out on a trail riders will be given a brief overview of horse riding commands and an evaluation of their skills. If it is determined that any rider is on a horse that is not at their riding level or if the rider can not safely control their horse on the trail, a side walker will be necessary for that rider. Lack of experience or proper control of your horse affects the safety of the whole group. If it is determined that a side walker is required for the trail ride, an extra fee will be due in the amount of $15. per side walker (subject to staff availability). Alternatively, the ride can be switched to a lesson in the ring without a side walker. If you know in advance that a rider will require a lead line walker, please specify that on the booking system. Side walker fees are due upon arrival along with admission Services booked on line are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule your appointment, please give at least 24 hours notice. Please notice that days are staffed to accommodate appointments and horses are groomed and tacked in preparation for your arrival. Any appointment missed or not rescheduled with 24 hours notice will be forfeited.

Cancelation Policy

All bookings are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule please allow 24 hours notice. If you do not give 24 hours notice or you do not show up for your appointment it will be forfeited. For any schedule changes please call 609-575-6363
